The Northwest Youth Rodeo Association was founded in 1974 to keep the western heritage alive in America, to help build self-confidence and leadership skills in our youth. Also to give children, ages two through high school, the opportunity to experience the challenge and excitement of junior rodeo competition. The NYRA is made up of four age divisions at which the kids compete in the traditional rodeo events: from barrel racing to bull riding.
